Job Title: Assistant Manager
Job Description: An Assistant Manager provides support not only to the Manager, but also to the growth and development of the salons.
Job Requirements: As an Assistant Manager you will be expected to perform daily responsibilities as well as maintain salon performance. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Creating a “Selling Atmosphere”
- As an experienced team member, recognizing who may need help with their sales and being a coach to them
- Striving to become and industry expert
- Top of Mind awareness with Sales Goals; Daily and Weekly Goals
- Assisting with New Hire Training
- Assisting Manager with Training New Hires and Developing the Teams skills
- Conflict Resolution
- Implementing the “L.A.F.F.” Method with upset customers (Listen, Apologize, Fix it, Follow Up)
- Reconciling customer complaints when possible with “the client is always right” attitude
- When you feel the situation is out of your hands, transfer the client to management
- Salon Cleanliness & Maintenance
- Deep Cleaning Spray Units
- Cleaning Bed Filters assist with acrylics
- Assisting with re-lamping uv beds
- Maintaining and supervising salon cleanliness and ensuring team is performing their daily shift duties
- Whenever needed, help delegate extra cleaning duties to the team
- Membership Assistance
- Monthly Calling list of delinquent members
- End of Month- Cancelled and Frozen Folder information monthly
- Notifying managers of any major membership issues
- Offer Credit First / If not Satisfied / Refer to Manager
- Making Daily Deposits
- Inventory Assistance
- In the event a manager is unable to perform a bi-monthly inventory count the assistant manager will perform the count and email the reports to the correct people
- Invoicing and unboxing orders that come if the manager is not at the salon
- Adding orders to Inventory if the manager is unable to do so
Hours: Ability to work an average of 30 hours per week, with night and weekend availability
